Peace – Short Poem
Peace has been around for centuries,
But we do not notice it,
We started to listen to war,
War gave many new inventions but not peace,
Peace is that we cannot see, touch or hear but can provide benefits,
We have time to give up war and focus on peace,
Only if we try.

Peace – Short Poem, Inspiration:
Events in early 2019 lead me to write this poem. Because of hype in media and social media, everyone was scared of war or even nuclear war between Pakistan and India. By the grace of Allah nothing scary event happened and I hope we will move to more peaceful interactions among neighbors.
I would like to dedicate this poem to Jacinda Ardern, who emerged as true peace ambassador.
