Happy New Year in the Time of Pandemic

The horizon of the upcoming days,

Start of a new one,

Maybe better than the earlier one at least,

Sticking together to see last one departs,

To celebrate this coming year,

A whole new surprise awaiting,

Surprise it may be,

But better it should be,

Behind the days that lead to the future,

Brighter than the one we had gone through,

The turning spirals of the day into the night,

It repeats itself till the last day of the year,

We celebrate this with our whole delight,

As we anticipate a better tomorrow,
