Teddy Bear Poem
Those large black eyes that look straight at you,
Those memories you glimpse at,
Inside that plush toy, regular plush toy,
You’ve hugged it all night,
Nightmares vanish upon holding it tight,
It’s always there to listen, when no one wants to,
Secrets you keep with it, as you told no one else,
Your teddy bear is there for you,
It falls between your hands as a gift,
A really good gift, one which you cannot forget,
You remember the one who gifted it,
And the one who stitched it lightly.
