Haunted House, A Halloween Poem
Curiosity led me somewhere new,
A place that anyone hardly knew, The door with no locks or keys, Left open just for me to see, Creaking wooden planks, With each furniture spot blank, The cobwebs above the ceiling, That is left without a sweeping, The eerie noises beside the room, That could lead to my ultimate doom, I snuck in here, this abandoned home, That I no longer think I should roam.Haunted House, A Rhyming Halloween Poem by Sarah Shahzad, October 2023
