Poem on Elephants

Stomping around the tumbleweed flat,

That once were thriving,

Tunes that played throughout their journeys,

Behind they left the tumbleweed remains,

Looking for their homes that have been scattered around,

Places that once had water, dried up,

Birds that sang along, all flew away,

The tune dropped down, the whistles slowly came,

Elephants no longer there,

As they ran around asking for help,

Emptiness was all that stayed,

Ivory in decorations is all we have.
