Limerick

Limerick is most loved English poem for kids. A limerick has first, second and fifth rhyme and third and fourth same rhyme or different from the rest. Basically rhyme scheme is AABBA. Most popular one is “Hickory Dickory Dock” which is a short poem but a light one or humorous.
